Read: How I envision the Future

Q. Write a post about how you envision the future both in your lifetime and beyond that?

When I envision the future, I picture the effects of global warming. I come up with a clear idea of how things will be, but I do believe that we will be working toward cleaning up the mess that we are currently making. Eventually, the occurrences that we hear about every day such as rising sea levels and natural disasters will become even more pressing than they are now, and things will get worse before they get better. My hope is as we learn and adapt, that we eventually adopt more sustainable living standards and really become more conscious on the impact that we have on the environment.

From a science fiction POV, I think that it's very possible for our future to look like the image above. With sea levels rising above skyscrapers, the earth would become a place of extreme environments such as floating cities. Life as we know it will be completely different, as society continues to utilize technology as a crutch. Even more so than now, people will be strongly influenced by technology and will ultimately drift away from natural and biological processes.  

Another element that I think will play a huge part in the future is Artificial intelligence.  Artificial Intelligence will probably be one of the biggest changes in technology that will have a drastic impact. AI is loosely marketed in current times, but within the next 20 - 30 years, it will most likely become a part of everyday realities.
